For uniform distribution and p.d.f., Is P(X=x) always zero? Why? Doesn't the graph have a respective y value for all x?
Probability is the area under the graph e.g. P(a<x<b) is the area between a and b. If you're trying to do P(X=x) then the width is 0 so the area is 0.
2. DONE !!!
3. That was absolute banter.
4. Decent paper. Thought the wording was a bit strange at points.

That 1% significance ****, the probability seemed awfully high for 0.01 sig level.
The area of the circle.
The last part of Q6 are the main parts I'm concerned about.
5. Well that was an absolute **** storm
6. For the value of k i forgot to multiply a by 3 so I got 1/33 instead of 1/9. Apart from that I think the rest was fine, so hopefully I got over 90 UMS and secured an A* in further.

Yeah same my probability was so high like 0.2 or something like that

Yeah I got something between 0.2 and 0.3 and was doubting myself.
9. N= 57, n= 225, E(A) = 151/3 pi

Agree?

The area of the circle.
.
For E(A) i think I got (151/3)*Pi

12. 151/3Pi for area of the circle?

n's 225 and 60 (two questions)

Mean 1.41, Variance 1.44

Another n 57?

Omg Yesss I got those!
15. What did people put for the last question? My expected was £41 something and he'd get £40 removing so I said no.
16. What did everyone get for the value of K in the CDF question ?
