Ford ka cd player,a/c not working.

I wonder if anyone can help me,I've got a 2002 ford ka and I've got a cd player instead of the old radio but it doesn't turn on at all, and the ac doesn't work, the blower on blows hot air even if you have it on cold and the fog lights button doesn't work. I've taken the cd player out but all the wires seem to be connected. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm no mechanic so just a guess but have you checked the fuses?
