As long as the series isn't being presented as historical fact I don't have a problem with it, so half men-half monsters and wizards are acceptable in Shakespeare but a black queen isn't?

That would never happen. Black actors are only cast in good guy white roles, and increasingly only in good guy roles.

Well according to Greg Dyke, ex DG it is "Hideously White"
It bothers me only because it is historically inaccurate. However, I feel it was done with good intentions and to create diversity, which is a good thing too
