Hope this is the right place.
I'm just finishing my foundation year as part of a 4 year course. The foundation year has a different name (environmental management foundation) to my degree course (geography) but that was the same for everyone. It was a combined group with everyone from environmental health to conservation foundation year students. But now I've come to fill in for next years course as I did a year at university twenty years ago they're saying next year will be my third course and won't provide funding. I tripled checked that everything was going to be ok before I even started all this. it wasn't supposed to be a problem because it was one 4 year course, I don't walk away now with any qualifications or anything I'm literally choosing modules for next year. When I've called they didn't seem to know anything and asked me to just write in a letter saying as such. With no timeline or even any guess at if that will work. I don't know if I've been stupid and put the wrong course code in or something? The application section is down now. I'm supposed to be revising but it's all for nothing if I don't get funding. If I'd have been told it would count I would have skipped foundation year if it meant no funding for the rest of the course.
No fees being paid for rest of degree
