Did anyone did the liberal criticise multiculturalism question? (15)

yep, said how it is seen as a form of collectivism, they oppose value pluralism and multiculturalism also undermines foundational equality
for the feminism ideology question i wrote about all the feminism e.g liberal radical etc. i wrote about the similarities and difference between them and then concluded its difficult to say if it's a single ideology. Obviously , I wrote a lot more than this but if you get the idea is this right?

hello, thanks for the feedback! Did you talk about how liberals may NOT criticise multiculturalism or just full on criticisms?

for the 15 marker on feminism, i spoke about how conservatives see the aims of some feminists to have gender divisions as 'artificial' as it disrupts the organic society. i also spoke about how this goes against the idea of the 'natural aristocracy' and explained that in C19, females were regarded as the property of men. my final point was on why socialists criticise it and mention that feminism only aims to solve economic inequality for half of the population(females only).

did anyone here write something similar and are these even valid points???

I said conservative disagree with gender equality because of natural and organic hierarchy in the family ; patriarchy is natural ; men ahould be bread winners and child bearing entails the responsibility of child rearing, so working mothers and more disposed to having children that commit crimes (a bit strong but I'm sure it's in the textbook somewhere haha)

Some liberals refute that the personal should be political ; need a minimal state that shouldn't "meddle in the care of men's souls" ; child rearing etc should remain in private sphere etc etc

Some socialists or orthodox Marxists refute that gender is the most significant social cleavage ; class policts is more important than sexual politics ; economic and social liberation through class consciousness will entail gender equality or radical feminist 'consciousness raising'

Bit worried now! Haven't seen anyone that said points that were too similar

I'm not too sure- but the criticisms are so simple...traditional family stood the test of time and essentialist view of sexes

the question just threw me off and instead I took the plunge to do sustainability..gutted..the feminism question was so simple..

For the feminism one I only did conservative critisms

I said that it undermines the traditional nuclear family, conservatives see gender as set from birth and and it causes radical change which damages organic society?

I did this too, I'm soo worried I'm going to be knocked down because I completelyyy blanked and couldn't think of any other ideologies/criticisms :frown:
Did anyone do the nationalism 45 marker and put

45 marker on nationalism -
Political and cultural nationalism
Liberal nationalism - woodrow Wilson - enlightenment- j.s mill, self determination
Expansionist nationalism- regressive backward looking- Charles Maurras, Nicklaus Chauvin, hitter Germany, British and French colonial powers
Anti colonial nationalism- socialist- Marxism- class struggle is similar to colonialism and imperialism ...
Conservative nationalism
And conclusion
Did anyone else do 3B and 4D or was that my college's weird selection haha? Also all i have to say for 4D is that I'm lucky I quickly scanned over international courts and law otherwise I'd be completely ****ed for those 45 markers! I only revised 2 out of the 4 topics that would come up so I'm just really grateful it worked out lol... Overall, i think it was a really good paper. I thought 3B was also really nice, so hopefully A*!!

Doesn't make any difference though dude, boundaries are all separate from separate papers.

**** I hate exams. That was such an annoying one. The 45 marker was a dream, but that feminism 15 marker totally screwed me.

Ah damn, I thought they were the same! And I was dreading the exam so I was happy that feminism came up as a 45! But yeah the 15ms were so weird. For the feminism one I feel like I made up some things haha :P

Me too, for one of them i only wrote a few lines...

That was a really bad paper in terms of 15 markers
This is how I answered the questions I chose

Eco-Socialism:
1. Capitalism causes environmental damage
2. Introduce socialism to save planet
3. Working class are victims of environmental damage

Criticisms of sustainability:
1. Outline sustainability - Shallow ecology
2. Too anthropocentric + based on utilitarian value (need ecocentrism + intrinsic value to save planet) - Deep ecology
3. Unworkable under industrialism (need post-industrialism to save planet) - Deep ecology

Liberal criticisms of multiculturalism:
1. Damages individual freedom
2. Damages equality
3. Hinders progress

Is Nationalism progressive?:
1. Self determination (lib + postcol)
2. Self determination (con + exp)
3. Inclusivity (lib + postcol)
4. Exclusivity + racialism (con + exp)
5. Internationalism + peace (lib + postcol)
6. War, jingoism + patriotism (con + exp)

Since there are socialist and liberal feminists, I criticised difference feminists with equality feminists and vice versa and I criticised liberal feminism with socialist and radical feminists then I criticised the whole ideology with post-feminism. I should've added the conservative point though. Were my points alright?
