So I've started looking for accommodation for next year and found a nice looking place with good location and price. The only thing is, I'd be living with 4 male professionals in their mid 20s - as a girl, only 19 soon, I'm not sure if I should even consider this place. I have lived the whole first year with 5 guys in uni halls though, so gender is not really an issue for me, but it does feel different in this case, especially because they are 5-6 years older and not students anymore. They claim to be easy-going and I get the impression they're good craic, but I am a bit hesitant for different reasons. I'd love to hear if anyone has experience living with older professionals while at uni/ living with guys as the only girl. Also would be great to hear guys opinions of a girl living with a group of guys (ie. how you'd feel if you lived with a few lad friends and a girl moved in, how much does it affect that I'm a girl vs a guy). Don't know if I'm just overthinking, maybe I should just go view the house and I'd probably meet some of the people living there as well - like it still wouldn't make me committed to anything. Anyways let me know your thoughts!

    sounds dodge af

I think you'd be a lot more likely to feel out of place in that situation. I lived with all guys for one year of uni and it was fine but I'd feel uncomfortable living with 5 men several years older than me doing different things with themselves. You also wouldn't have another flat down the hall to socialise with if they ended up a bit weird. I also think it would be nicer to live with students where people will be more in the same boat regarding work/exams.
