Hi, I recently joined this forum and hope somebody can help me understand my NVQ grades.
In 2014 I was awarded the qualifications listed below:
-EAL Level 2 Award in Personal Learning and Thinking Skills for New Entrants into the Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Sectors (600/2019/2). I was awarded 6 credits (out of a possible 6).
-EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technology (500/7595/0). I was awarded 39 credits (out of a possible 42).
-EAL Level 2 Award in Employment Rights and Responsibilities for New Entrants into the Science, Engineering and Manufacturing industries (600/0290/6). I was awarded 5 credits (out of a possible 5).
In 2015 I was awarded the qualification below:-
-EAL Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations (Engineering Practices) (600/8264/1). I was awarded 57 credits (out of a possible 64).
After completing the qualifications listed above, I received a certificate which confirmed that I had successfully completed the 'Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Improving Operational Performance (Performing Engineering Operations) in the Science, Engineering and Manufacturing Technologies.
No mention of what 'grade' or 'grades' I'd achieved. I believe I was told by my lecturer at the time that we would receive either a 'Pass', 'Merit' or 'Distinction' designation, but I don't have a single piece of paper with any of those words written on them. Are you able to help me fathom out how well I did?
I only ask because I've applied for a new job, but my prospective employer wants the value or grading of the qualifications explaining to him.
Thanks for your time.
