Whenever my friends and I hang out or anything, I always feel like I'm third-wheeling. I just get ignored and feel my existence dissolving, the longer we spend together. I've started to speak less because I feel like I'm intruding or whatever and when I do try to speak, I get shut out. It wasn't always like this... it only recently started happening now. Not sure about whether I should leave them completely or try make an effort to contribute more but I've tried... It's been a while now... Tbh I'd rather be alone than to be ignored but I just wanted opinions on this. Reckon I should leave or stay?

    Thanks xx

Im quite similar to yah you could say im the misfit in the group.... they are black and im chinese.... They do however have similar interests, goals and ideologies which is why im friends with them in the first place. It simple depends on whether you actually like them and if they like you. As long as your not being used i see little wrong. Im usually away from my friends anyways 24/7. They should be there when you dont expect them . Not to be there for you everyday.

Try and speak to them about it. Tell them how you feel and ask them why they're making you feel like this. See how things go after that and if you still feel like an outsider, then I would stop hanging around with them. You'll find more friends eventually. Friends that will probably make you feel a bit more involved than the current ones are
