Postgraduate Loan and Career Development Loan

Hi,

Will the postgraduate loan be guaranteed to all students who fit the conditions, like the undergraduate loan, or will there be a credit check and some people may be declined, as with the Career Development loan?

Will we be able to apply for a Career Development loan as well as the Postgraduate loan and will the Postgraduate loan effect our chances of being accepted for the Career Development loan?

Hi

The Postgraduate Loan isn’t income assessed (based on household income) and we don’t do a credit check. So as long as you meet the eligibility criteria you’ll be able to get a Postgraduate Loan.

We won’t ask if you’re getting a Career Development Loan when you apply but I’m not sure how getting a Postgraduate Loan would affect you getting a Career Development Loan, you would be best to check this with a bank who offer these loans.
