Directive 2011/24 (the Patient's Directive)
Struggling to find cases to do with the above directive.
The scenario is: a man has permanent residence in the UK is also a non EU national spouse. He could not receive surgery for a RARE heart condition in the UK since they do not perform the surgery and therefore went to Bulgaria for the surgery without prior authorisation from the UK. He is now seeking remuneration.
Anyone know of any cases that is relevant to this scenario?
