# Help with 3D Pythagoras and Trigonometry!

1. Hey

Please can someone help me with this? What is the difference between normal Pythagoras and Trigonometry and the 3D one? I know the normal one but not 3D one, please can someone help me.

2. It would be easier if you had an example question, but 'normal' 2D trigonometry and Pythagoras is when they just give you a shape such as a flat triangle and you have to work out angles or sides.
3D Pythagoras and Trigonometry usually involve a 3D shape such as a cube...
3. if they ask for the angle between line PQ "and the base" you must draw a diagonal in the base and use that and PQ to enclose the angle.
