When I studied nursing my childcare was £400-£600 a month and I wasn't entitled to help because my partner worked; however, he didn't get as much as what we had to pay for childcare so I had to use all of my bursary and some loan.
You will be able to claim up to 80% of childcare cost and you will probably receive the whole 80% as you're a single mum. You also get dependant allowance, parenting allowance... You will be fine. :-)
