are you taking GCSE maths again this year then?

it depends. the best bet is to get in touch with university admission tutors and email or call them individually with this questions.

i haven't used a single mathematical skill while studying my english degree... that said, many people would consider that failing a maths GCSE is indicative of some sort of general academic/intellectual defect. i've got no idea though. like i said, your best bet is to find out by getting in contact with admissions tutors.
Everybody says to get a C in Maths...it probably just looks better and employers like you to have a C in Maths too.

 I should imagine that there will be some unis that do but it depends on where you want to go. I shouldn't think Oxbridge will accept you but if you're looking at more normal and less picky universities you should be ok, I think. Best to check though.

I've never used maths on my degree, but then it's good to have at least that C if you possibly can.

If you can count to about 12 then you've got enough maths for scansion!
I don't know any unis that don't ask frp a C in maths.
