Cambridge requires fees upfront - Can I get loan upfront?

Hi,

I'm applying for a PGL for my MPhil at the University of Cambridge.

However, the fees need to be provided upfront to the college (which clashes with the three instalments of this loan)

Am I able to receive the full loan upfront to be paid directly to the college?

I think this is an issue that will arise frequently, as quite often this is the case with fee-paying at Masters level.

Hi Helenakerr93,

Payments will be paid at the beginning of each term for every student. We cannot pay the Postgraduate Loan in a lump sum.I would advise that you speak with your university to let them know that your funding will come from student finance as they will be aware of the payment schedule and may be able to give you further advice.
