Does being in your overdraft ruin your credit rating?

Been in my overdraft for my bank account since january haha, I've only been over my overdraft limit once and paid it back within a couple weeks (had to pay interest on it tho due to it being over my overdraft limit)

Anyways I am aware exceeding my limit has probably damaged my credit rating quite a bit? but also, does staying in my overdraft damange my credit rating considering it's interest free as it's not exceeding the limit?

if you fail to pay it off at the end of the month then yes it will have a negative impact but if you keep up repayments and so on it will fix it self pretty much
