Oh, I really don't know how they work (as I'm on AQA). Maybe try researching the UMS for OCR, see what you would need to get your best result. AQA has a UMS converter so OCR probably does too...
No they are two separate GCSEs
I think that it stays as A*B but not sure. Maybe check on your exam board's website?
