Staying over summer, Half rent paid..

Hi!
So I was just wondering if someone could help. (I have also emailed my letting agent this question but they're shut until Tuesday)

I want to extend my contract for my house next year. I've already paid £440 summer retainer/half rent. My rent is £110 a week

My contract says "If you want to stay in the property you will be charged £40 per night for a maximum 14 nights. If you wish to stay longer than 14 nights the full weekly rent will be charged."

I want to stay all summer and the half rent period covers 8 weeks (1st July- 1st September)

So my question is:
To extend the contract do I need to pay another £440 making what i've paid in total £880 which works out at the full weekly rent for 8 weeks.

OR

Do i need to pay £880 on top of the £440 i've already paid.
