Part time job uncertainty

I want to apply for a part time job before I go off to university, maybe for 2 months, and was just wondering:
1.) Is there a maximum amount of hours I would be allowed to work for as I have heard you can do no more than 20 hours a week if you have applied for student finance.
2.) Is it true that if you have a part time job, accommodation will not be covered by student finance
3.) What other side effects does having a part time job have with student finance that people may not fully be aware of.
You can work as much as you like while you aren't at uni (i.e. the summer before). I don't think you would want to work more than 20 hours a week while studying, although I'm not aware of any rules stopping it (I knew someone who worked full time while studying.
