is past papers enough for 3a's

ive read most of the content for biology, physics and chem a few times (not perfect) but ive got a good idea of the info i think. considering it is late in the year, should i just practise past papers now to learn things i dont know by mark scheme, or continue to read my notes and cgp guides?
you need to understand the information you're reading before anything. then go on to doing past papers, see where you are going wrong and look at the mark schemes, don't just rely on the mark scheme's, you need to know why it's that answer. Biology is a memory game, and in chemistry there are some repeated questions. Don't know about physics.
