A 5 V AND A 3V BATTERY ARE IN PARALLEL CONNECTED TO A 5 OHM RESISTOR.

Someone solve for the current i3
and the total emf of the circuit.

The methods available for solution are Superposition, Norton's Theorem and Thévenin's Theorem.

However, without knowing the internal resistances of both cells, this cannot be practically solved.
We cant solve it using kirchoff law untill internal resistance is given right?

That's exactly what I said in my first post.

Kirchoff and Ohms laws are implicit in using the others.
