Where did you do your work experience/where can I do mine?

I want to get some kind of work experience done in the summer. I'm planning on volunteering at my local charity shop but I want to do some work experience too. I would really like maths/IT/Computer science/Media based but I don't really mind. I can find some later. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
