    Hey everyone,
I am thinking of confirming my place at UWE to study fine art, however I just wanted to know a bit more about it first. What is the course like and is it a real hassle getting the bus to Bower Ashton campus? Would prefer the campus to be in the centre near accommodation (thinking of marketgate, transom house etc) but I love Bristol so much, willing to accept some negatives haha. Could anyone tell me about the course/facilities/location etc?
    Thank you! Ellie

The Fine Art course is based at Spike Island a centre of contemporary art and design - it is based between the halls in the town centre and the beautiful Bower Ashton Campus. From Spike island both the town and Bower Ashton are considered a short hop. If you do need to take a bus between the town centre and Bower the faculty has an arrangement with the buses to pass through town and drop you off outside the campus reception, so essentially you can go from bus to seminar room in less than 5 minutes.

Hey there! I will be studying Fine Art too in September too, we could be in the same class. I've applied for Transom House as it's the closest to Spike Island. I may look at other accommodation too as halls are so pricey. I live near Bristol and the transport system is really good and super cheap for students.
