I have my English language exam in about 5 weeks time and i have consistently been getting c's and i dont know how to boost my grade. If anyone has any tips or websites that could help me i'd be very grateful.

PS i need to get a B in english to do subjects such as science and economics

I don't know what areas you're struggling in but my one tip I give to EVERYONE is:

They will honestly do you the world of good. Practising them will mean you're prepared for anything in the exam, since most questions will just be repeating themselves. Look at them on the OCR websites. Which seem to be less frequent in the latest exams? If you're not seeing many formal letters, practise formal letters, and if you're not seeing many travel guides, do travel guides. But you need to practise all of them. You NEED to. It's the most helpful revision there is.

Then, send them to your teacher to mark, whether it be via email or in person. Your teacher will be very happy to mark them since they'll want your grade to be improved. Ask them for advice, too, not TSR!

Look at last examples from examiners or ask your teacher to print one out for you (they send them to teachers). What are A* examples doing differently to you? Can you steal any sentences, ideas, layouts?

Good luck - mines in three weeks!
