Original post by ciaranh98
Got mine on Monday 23rd May

Would you be able to let us know about the types of questions being asked for each activity afterwards, would be a massive help, nice one. Just wondering what's going to be asked for activity 3 and 4 based off of what there has been in the past, thanks.
I'm afraid not, plus, this forums rules do not permit it. However, I have attached an overview of the exam, based on a past paper which gives you lots of helpful hints and tips.

Can you tell us what comes up, not like exactly but a general idea? Are we on the right lines with the formulas

For activity 3, we're required to work out the tides for a month ourselves using SINE and COSINE. Then complete the tables using the same formulas as before.

ignore the winking faces, nothing is being replaced by them.

The other faces should all be a COLON :
Now, I have spoken to my teachers, and we have come to the conclusion that in the exam, we think they will provide the height of the boat, which will mean that we can calculate the clearance which we think is how much room you have before you hit the bottom of the bridge. We do not have any other ideas of what this could be until Monday.
