UCAS Tariff Points and graduate schemes

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

Not all grad jobs have UCAS reqs.

Its its a particular job / company that you really want to apply for I would advise doing it anyway. The 'requirements' are more like guidelines, have a good cover letter / CV (1:1 degree will help a lot too) and you'll still stand a good chance.

I've read about the companies automatically rejecting applications without 300 UCAS points through the system though.

If they ask for 300 UCAS points then unfortunately yes auto rejection however more and more companies are moving away from this. PWC, EY, HMRC spring to mind. I think I have about 260 UCAS points due to EC, but on many applications I've not even had to declare them and had no trouble getting through.
