Looking for a new laptop, preferably around or under the £500 mark. Mainly to be used with Ableton to record/create music.

I found these two laptops in curry's. Any suggestion as to what is best?? Or any other recommendations?

    Lenovo - i7, 12gb, 1 TB - £599

    Toshiba - i5, 8gb, 1 TB - £479

I probably wouldnt buy from Curry's.
I'd also look around more. Figure out the specs you want and then see the laptops in real life, so you cna judge the ergonomics. John Lewis is a reasonable start.
Just google music production laptops and you can see the sort of spec emphasis they prefer.

Just "i7" or "i5" is meaningless: which i7 CPU? Which i5 CPU? What graphics facility does it have?
