Can someone livng out still attend freshers events?
I will be travelling from home but really want to attend freshers events, are they all based on accommodation?

Yes you can, there is a 'Living Out' committee who arrange Freshers events for anyone not in UON accommodation. Last year they had a Facebook page called 'Living Out 2015-16' where they posted all of the information. They had a meetup thing (which I think was on the Sunday afternoon before Freshers Week) at Mooch on University Park campus where you could collect your Freshers wristband.
Thanks for that I will have a look.
Most of them freshers events are for everybody, with just a few for specific halls. When the freshers week programme is published online it's usually clear which you can attend.
