International postgraduate students- Part-time work

Hi,

I was wondering if international students work part-time at QMUL. I will hopefully be joining postgraduates for MSc in Regenerative Medicine this year. I understand that there are strict work regulations for international students allowing 20 hours/ week to 10 hours/week. I would like to know where and how you can find work which can at least cover some daily expenses.

Hey! I know plenty of international students who can find part-time work. I would really recommend trying to find a position within QMUL or the Students Union, which you can check https://www.qmsu.org/jobs/ or by visiting the careers service. They are really understanding that your studies come first. You will also get informed of new opportunities when you arrive. I would recommend finding out about the student ambassador scheme because that's what I did! http://www.careers.qmul.ac.uk/students/workexperience/items/100889.html
Hope this helps! -Sarah
