Birkbeck Psychology Taster Day 2016
I came away from today £35 poorer and an unwanted intimate knowledge of Tesco's financial history. What a complete waste of a day, and well done to them, they have successfully made sure I will never attend that university.
I spent 4 hours travelling in total and missed a day of school despite it being so close to my exams because I was told I could attend an Organisational Psychology taster day at Birkbeck. Instead when I turn up i'm ushered into a boiling, over crowded lecture room where I am talked at for 10 minutes about how great the university is before they tell us that the psychology lecturer is sick but that's ok because we will join the management group. We were then promised an overview of the course at least. Instead I received an hour lecture on Tesco's financial history and they different routes I can take to become an accountant!
