Edexcel A2 Mathematics
Hi guys,
I'm due to take C1-4 alonside S1-2.
My understanding of the A* alocation at the moment is that 80 UMS is required as an average over AS Exams (C1,2 and S1) and 90 UMS as a avergae in C3 and 4. However, I am currently unsure where S2 would fit in here as I could be taking M1 for example which is an AS level in place of the A2 level S2. Would it just be another 80 UMS?

You need to have an 80% average over all of your modules (AS and A2). Additionally you need a 90% average over C3 and C4. Other modules (as far as I know) have no effect on the A*, I know M1 definitely does not.
