can i defer after firming my offer?
Hey,I recently firmed my offer to study at Bristol but i'm now really regretting not having applied for deferred entry to take a gap year - would they consider deferring my offer/place to 2017 entry?
also would i need to explain why i want to do this and tell them what i would be doing in my gap year?

Simply contact Bristol and ask them if you can defer. They may say no, but are more likely to say yes if you ask now and not leave until Results Day.
If they say no you can still withdraw anyway and just reapply next cycle. No one is forcing you to go to university this year if you don't want to
