So I know a lady who's son is 32 into his 33rd year and is single.

I know another man who is 36, married with two kids and I don't think he wants me to be in a relationship with a nice women.

They are just looking at me and hoping I would just fail, however, I'm only 26 years old, got time to find someone and get settled. I'm applying for software developer, engineering, IT jobs.

The man does take advantage of me, at a party he told me can you go outside to the shop and get some stuff which I told him ask someone else. He also ignores the handshake when I'm in his vicinity and has ignored me and my father before. He also ignored me and invited everyone else in the paint balling trip. He is the one who likes taking the piss.

The lady keeps looking at me a lot, and it would damage her ego if she saw me in a happy relationship in comparison to her son's troubles with finding a women. The son tapped me on the shoulder for no reason at a gathering in March, I had no idea why.

I'm only 26 and absolutely can prove them wrong. So how can I behave towards them (especially the man) when I see them? How can I shatter their ego's? I believe their ego's deserve to be shattered.

    Ignore them?

These are very minor incidents if anything, surely you want to succeed regardless and just show you're more mature by not letting them get to you.

How do you deal with someone who wants you to fail?

    You succeed.
