'Natural Born Killers' as wider reading?

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I'm sitting the AQA A English Literature exa, Unit 3, Love through the ages... and I am inclined to using texts that stick with me, as we all are, some of these texts are Natural Born Killers (screenplay), One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (book, looking at fraternal lrelationships), On The Road (also fraternal love aswell as hedonistic).

These are a few that I really want to use but dout they'd be approved by spec. Dont worry I've studied the classics (Streetcar named desire, Hand Maids tale, Gatsby, Othello, Lolita, Price of Salt etc etc)... and, yes, believe it or not they link with the texts above, even The Scarlet Letter.

Is anyone else using iffy texts? Also, if you've read any of these, do you have any suggestions for good comparable texts?
