I went there for a viewing recently, it's truly horrible.
I visited quite a few blocks, had a look at different rooms, the gym (cardio only) and common room, I could not bear the stench on my 30 minute tour, can not imagine what it would be like living there.
Have you had a look at Arkwright House?
Costs more but it's a huge upgrade, I was very impressed on my visit. I'm thinking of going there in September as a 3yr undergraduate.
I also visited Wardley House which is basically a run down version of Foster Hall without the smell.
