I really need help with this practical paper. I am not sure how you can tell A is ethanoic acid and B is an organic fuel.
Are there any tips to do well in a practical? Also, I generally get gas tests wrong - maybe because the gas escapes - so is there a way to actually get it right?

    Thank you

I was also wondering what the cation/anion test is for when you add sulfuric acid, pottasium manganate (VII) and then sodium hydroxide
