Forgot how to solve :p

hey smart people,i forgot how to solve this so if anyone could show me a step-by-step answer that would be awesome :P

i usually just guess the answer but i have a test coming in a few days and i don't know if ill guess it with more complicated numbers :P
(answer is Q=4500,but how do we get there..)

Start by doing a bit of simplifying :

−0.5=Q−5000120−100⋅1005000⇒−0.5=Q−500020⋅150\displaystyle -0.5 = \frac{Q-5000}{120-100}\cdot\frac{100}{5000} \Rightarrow -0.5 = \frac{Q-5000}{20}\cdot\frac{1}{50}

Next I would get rid of the 150\frac{1}{50} by multiplying both sides by 5050:

−0.5×50=Q−500020⇒−25=Q−500020\displaystyle -0.5\times 50 = \frac{Q-5000}{20}\Rightarrow -25 = \frac{Q-5000}{20}

Have a go from here. Post all your working/ideas if you get stuck.
