Hi guys. I hope all year 13 are doing well on their exam.

I was wondering how do they mark my DT IA. The prototype I made was quite poor but when I was looking through the criteria, they didn't really mention about the quality of prototype. They seemed to be mostly assessing based on the quality of our writing. Is this true?

I am getting 6 as a predict of my course work but I am really worried since my prototype is kind of blah.

And I was also wondering what happen if you faced with the problem at the stage of making prototype? I know a few students who have the products which are very well designed and planned but not seemed to be construct-able with their skills. What would happen if they end up with crappy product?

Anyone know how IBO actually mark DT IA?
Do IBO put more weight on actual product? or on the planning, designing, evaluation of the product?
