I am wondering if anyone here has completed the Computer Science SKE course?
I am interested to know more about it and what it entails.

I'm not from a Computer Science background but my degree can relate a little to it. (Basically I know HTML, CSS coding and a few others) so I would need to benefit from the SKE course greatly if I'm considering to teach the subject.

Has anyone else been in the same situation as me? Any advice would be really appreciated!

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

I'm due to start a SKE soon (a full time one) as it is a condition of my offer. I am a mature student (28) and it has been a while since I did my degree but I have been working in a relevant sector so I was a bit torn, however the SKE for my course pays £200/week to attend and as I see it, it is a great chance to work on lesson plans and getting familiar with the curriculum prior to my PGCE. Also I feel it helps to get back into the academic mindset required and gives me a lot more time with my course tutors which is always a plus in my mind.

    Hope this helps a bit!

    Kind regards,
