I’m helping to bring together a group of medical students from across the UK to help make sure the resources we produce are as helpful and relevant to you as possible – and we need you to get involved.
What’s in it for you? You get the chance to build your experience as a medical student and influence the work of your regulator. You will mainly be asked to draft articles and blogs, review content and suggest new ways for us to work with you. Group work will be done over email so you can fit it around your schedule.
We’ve got some students signed up already but the majority are from English medial schools, so if you’re studying in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, I’d especially love to hear from you.
Having said that, here’s a list of all the schools that aren’t represented yet:
University of Aberdeen
University of Birmingham
University of Bristol
The University of Edinburgh
University of Exeter
University of Glasgow
Hull York Medical School
University of Leeds
University of Leicester
University of Manchester
Norwich Medical School, UEA
Queen’s University Belfast
University of Southampton
University of St Andrews
The University of Warwick
If you’re interested in joining, you can get in touch with me, Jo and Lorie by email at [email protected]. Or if you have any questions, feel free to ask on here.

Sounds good. Maybe the first article could be about how the GMC intends to justify increasing their retention fees? Would be interesting to read.Post rating:2

You might find London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine aren't represented because they don't have a medical school?Post rating:1
