Dunno if I am the only one but I didn't find it too bad.
In all fairness, though, yesterday I did 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 past papers, And even with harsh marking didn't get less than 59.
The questions on this 2016 paper were exactly the same layout as in the past so it was quite easy to just memorise the method and sub the numbers in for each question. As soon as we were told we could start I looked through the book and was relieved that it was the same layout.

I must admit this year was my retake because last year I did virtually no revision and flopped it horribly.
The only question I stumbled on this year was question 7 as my final answer was 11.5 not 11.25 but otherwise I'm quite happy with how that went.
Well done! that's a small slip - that's like -1 or 2 marks tbh!
2. does anyone remember what questions were asked in order?
1) is to find gradient of tangent, and co ordinates of B, and ?
2) surd question
3) ?
4) ?
5) circle one
6) ?
7) ?
8) the inequality one with critical values

i can put together a mark scheme

7 was integrating. The integral evaluated to 20.25, and the shaded area was 11.25

Hope it's 73 (or less). Full marks for 100 would be a bummer.
If its full marks for 100 ums on this hardish C1 paper I haven't got a chance of full UMS on C2
5. Does anyone know the surds part b) question? I know it was ((3rt5)^2 + something) divided by something.

(3√5)^2 + √5 over 7-3√5
7. What was the translation?
i got 1/2, -41/4

it was 1/2 , 41/4

(3√5)^2 + ? over 7-3√5
Yeah that looks about right, did anyone get 4 as the denominator?
10. (Original post by Poppy1098)
I also got root 34
nahhhhh fammmm it was k=65
11. (Original post by Agent R5)
it was 1/2 , 41/4
ahhh never mind, other than that and forgetting how to find a stationary point (really stupid mistake) i think ive done pretty well
12. could anyone tell me what question number had an answer of -3/2<k<6 ?

I need to know aswell, what was the question
14. (Original post by emilstewart77)
could anyone tell me what question number had an answer of -3/2<k<6 ?
think it was 8, but i got the answer as k<-3/2, k>6
15. (Original post by emilstewart77)
could anyone tell me what question number had an answer of -3/2<k<6 ?
it was K<-3/2 K>6
they were 2 seperate inequalities because B^2-4ac was > 0

could anyone tell me what question number had an answer of -3/2<k<6 ?
It was the last part of the last question, not sure what number. But k wasn't between values as it was 'equation'>0 so you had to give the points that were above 0 making k<-3/2 and k>6

I got -4 as the denominator but I don't think it's right

9? I thought is was 0.5*[24*(5/4)]=15

Hmm, nah it's 9. The base was the difference between -2 and -5/4 which is 3/4.
