The video is entirely misleading. It seems not to grasp the difference between a free trade zone and the Single Market. It also ignores the benefits of negotiating trade deals as a group, to punch above your weight, rather than trying to make a deal isolated.

And we can negotiate our own deals - Osborne did one with China last year - we just have to respect the ones we are party to as an EU Member. That's ordinary, good politics.

Unelected EU Commissioners? Just like unelected Lords or 'unelected' Cabinet Members. We are as democratic now as we would be outside the EU.

Our trade with the EU may have fallen but 45% is still massive, and there's nothing to indicate it's a terminal, one-way decline.

And nobody's saying the UK can't trade. The question is whether we could get better deals than we currently do.

Oh here we go, the bloody 'fearmongering' excuse again. The video makes no attempt to refute the £3000 claim, but simply dismisses it as 'idiotic'. As for scaremongering, what about its pathetic claims about further integration, which we have already secured an opt-out to, and we can veto and block anyway! That's scaremongering!

Typical eurosceptic drivel, 3/10. Nice graphics, and starts out being reasonable but rapidly descended into tin foil hat territory.

Because the video is not telling the truth. The EU has a considerable degree of democratic input, and EU officials are considerably constrained. Have you seen how long it takes the EU to frame a new law? Westminster can potentially do it in a day, but normally it takes about 8 months or so. It's normal in Brussels for a Directive to be negotiated between Member States, Parliament and Commission for years at a time.

It's entirely irrelevant. There's no metric there for whether that's overpayment, not does it consider the number (ten thousand) to be disproportionate to a Union of half a billion people.

Those fish,are still being pulled from our waters weve fished for centuries, except theyare being pulled out by the fishing fleets of other member states of theEU. Whule we spend millions on importing our fish from Norway.And Im not talking about half a billion members of theUnion, Im only taking about employees of the EU. Yeah, that's the europhobe's answer alright.

Yes, you are correct that other Member States are fishing in our waters, because our waters have the lion's share of the EU's fish. The EU is entirely on our side that other Member States are taking the michael. The problem is enforcement. It's a thousands-of-miles long stretch of sea. How do you propose to prevent other ships from raiding our waters?

The EU at least has a common inspection machine throughout the Union to weed out violators and get compensation. It's not perfect, but it's there. If we left the EU, we'd have no international mechanism by which we could drag up the Spanish for breaking the law.

So tell me, how would you deal with this?
