Hi everyone, I recently entered into ucas extra and somehow managed to apply to oxford physics for 2017 entry. I'm basically seeking confirmation that this is correct/allowed because (1) I applied to cambridge for 2016 entry using the same ucas application, and (2) oxford says applications for 2017 entry are meant to open in september, but I somehow managed to apply now!

If not then I'm slightly worried I won't get a reply by the deadline and then I won't be able to add anymore choices. So this is really urgent, any help would be appreciated

You can't apply to both in the same cycle so I'm convinced there has been a mistake.

You're right, I've also just been told by oxford that applications for 2017 entry open in september, so I shouldn't have been able to apply. Getting a bit worried now, if I don't get this cancelled I won't be able to apply to uni (I'm in extra so only have one choice). Any help?
Ring them up and explain; I'm sure this happens all the time

Oxford don’t do UCAS extra, definitely a clerical error!

If you haven’t rung all ready, submit a question here and ring them on Monday, they’ll be able to sort it out quickly. Campus code 9 means an open offer, so there’ll be no faffing about talking to colleges.
