1. How the heck does (5sqrtx + 6x^3) / [6(5sqrtx +x^3)^2/3]

go to

(5sqrtx + 3x^3) / [3(5sqrtx +x^3)^2/3]

Just doesn't seem possible, feel like my teacher made a mistake and that 5 would have become 5/2
