£250 accommodation deposit?

I'm really confused about the £250 deposit you have to pay for the accommodation. Just need an overall summery about it, like; when it has to be paid, what if I can't make the payment on date given, can I ask for a little longer to be able to pay the deposit. Ect..
Hi Reece, Hannah from the UoP Housing team here!

The £250 deposit has to be paid around July-time, so you need to start saving your pennies for this time.

If you are allocated one of the Unite-managed halls, I believe they will call you directly to make the payment over the telephone but they will send you details all about this as they will deal with your allocation separately to the University of Portsmouth ones.

If you are allocated one of the University of Portsmouth-managed hall of residence, you will be informed by email and by letter, then you get around 2 weeks to make the payment :redface:)
