I'm an A2 student, and just so it's clear I will not be going to uni after this. No subject inspired me at all to study it further, and to be honest I just want to join the working world after this. I have applied and received an unconditional offer for my dream job (meaning even if I failed everything I would still have the job). For my own benefit, I won't share what this job is because I've seen how judgmental a lot of this forum is. All you need to know is I wanted to do it since I was 4, and I've never deviated from that dream since. And because I didn't enjoy college, I highly doubt university is the right move for me.
The subjects I'm studying at A2 level are Maths, ICT and Business Studies. Maths and ICT I consistently get high As in mocks, and I am very certain I wouldn't get below a B overall in either, even if I had a bad day in the exam. However, Business Studies is my Achilles heel. I only got a C in it at AS, and in all the mocks so far for A2 I have only scored high Us to medium - high D's. I have done no revision for it, and the exams are on the 14th and 22nd of June. The problem is because my to-be job doesn't require me to get a grade in it, my target grade defaults to the best I can get, but unfortunately because I hate it and I'm very lazy when it comes to studying, the very best I can get, if I had a very good exam paper, would be a C, but a lot more likely to be lower. Now I don't have a text book or decent notes for this, so I've been searching for revision notes online to see if there's anything good I can find, to some success.
I guess the reason I'm posting here is because I want help. And the help I want is reasons I should actually get studying, because although those dates are coming up fast, it's definitely not too late to make a change. However, I am struggling to find the motivation to do something about it. Can you guys give me reasons on why I should try and get that C, and possibly any resources anyone also doing OCR Business Studies (F293 and F294) is using?
Thanks for your time and understanding.
Absolutely no incentive to revise
