As a man I have no balls and have kind of become a wimp. I am always nervous and on edge and always walk away from fights. I have been unemployed for ages and basically live off my parents. My parents do so much for m and they went through a phase of thinking I'm gay (Im not). I kind of don't feel like a man and have lost a huge amount of my self respect/self confidence. It makes me feel suicidal how much of my manliness/dignity has gone

Take things step by step, don't try to leap, I would recommend searching for volunteering or a job that you can move upwards in, what sort of skills do you have, what are you best at, evaluate yourself and look at where you can improve and not worry about things you cannot change. I would also try to find a way to reduce your nervousness, is it a medical condition, or stress related, you will never improve your confidence if you do not try things, so why dont you go out today and try something youve never done before.

Manliness is a social term. You are who you are. Walking away from fights isn't being a 'wimp', it's being smart. Being injured and in trouble with the police can affect your social and employment life. As for a job, probably best to get one, not to prove your 'manly', just to earn money so you can buy and do things. BTW the really 'manly' ones with the tatoos and who get in fights are the ones who are in prison so yeah, don't worry about it.

Read some self help lifestyle blogs geared towards men.

Primer Magazine and The Quintessential Man are good places to start. It'll make a difference.
