It's not that bad, there aren't many knives involved nowadays and the wars don't last as long as they used to.

Black people, most will dodge the subject on this site though. 2% of the population and 15% of the prison population. It's the same all over the world, they are largely the perpetrators and the victims of gun and knife crime in the UK.
explanations or interpretations:
One: people are deprived and have low education and get into gangs, there experiences with life and no money bad upbringing make them frustrated why there is violence
Two: media over amplifies this in media coverage, especially with black people to turn society against them. Racial hatred distracts from government failure
Three: gang violence accelerates because it's seen as a away of life, often seen in music videos, video games, movies etc
Four: gang violence is a result of crime, people form gangs to protection self but each gang often has arguments
Five: guys feel masculine by associating with gang violence, and traditional masculinity
