Political scene at Lancaster

I've got a question about the political scene at Lancaster. Is it like I'm reading in the news at the moment, with a hardcore far-left movement of students crying out for "safe spaces" and hence banning newspapers, songs, putting hands up at meetings etc?

Obviously I know this may come across as a biased question and could get a biased response but I'd just like to get an idea?

I'm not sure about the uni but the local area is sooooooo much not that at all. But i'd be interested to see if the uni was

I know what you mean, I imagine as tough Northeners they aren't going to be that upset by a song or something like that 😂
