Can anyone tell me how they learnt the conditions, reactants etc for each reaction? For example which reactants you need to make COOH from a primary alcohol. I have written out the reactants etc over and over and over again but I still can't remember them! Please help 😊

    Read the textbook.

I'd suggest making a mind map, have the function group in the middle and arrows going off to different products/transformations and put the reagents on the arrows.. that's a pretty good way of remembering. But to be honest it is just rote learning, going over it multiple times until it sinks in.
