I suffer from migraines, as does my cousin, she got her daith pierced and it worked wonders for her, so i decided to get mine done.

The body piercer put in a bar as he said thats the only thing a daith should be pierced with. About 2 hours after getting the piercing i got a headache and i still have it now, ive took painkillers and anti-inflammatories and they haven't helped at all.

Is it possible they are linked?

I also feel that the bar is so clunky and makes it hard to clean as i unable to get the hold of it (i have small ears) to manoeuvre it so as i clean it efficiently.... it also feel like the bottom half is going further back into my ear

    Any advice would be helpful

You have to be very patient with piercings, some of them heal very slow but if you really want it , waiting and taking care of it is the best option. Maybe you have a headache because of the stress, try to relax or go to sleep and see how's going in the next few days
